I wanted to try this place because my friend recommended it. I ordered three scoops of ice cream, and while I was still paying, a fly flew directly into my ice cream. I told the employee what happened, and she responded, “Well, we’re outside.” I removed the affected ice cream and asked for two more spoons, but when I explained what happened to another employee, I received the same response. I understand that they’re an outdoor business and can’t control every fly, but I was disappointed by the attitude and lack of customer service. I wasn’t trying to argue or cause a problem—I just expected my concern to be handled a little better. UPDATE: I’m honestly disgusted. I initially had a fly fly directly into my ice cream while I was STILL standing there paying for it. I told them immediately, and instead of apologizing or offering to replace it, I was told, “Well, we’re outside.” I removed the part the fly touched, threw the cone away, and took the rest home. I put it in the freezer and later started eating it, only to find ANOTHER FLY in the ice cream near the bottom. At this point I literally felt like I was going to throw up and threw the entire thing away. I have pictures. I understand that you’re an outdoor business, but two flies in the same order is absolutely disgusting, and the attitude I received when I first reported it made it even worse. The place also did not appear clean to me. I paid for this food and expected basic cleanliness and customer service. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

I went to go get some ice cream from there and some was sliding off the cone. The worker proceeded to use their ungloved hand to swipe the ice cream off. I asked if I could get another cone because they directly touched my ice cream and they said “No” with an attitude.
